On my long before post i have mentioned about the Doodle 4 Google contest which held at U.S.A. Now, the same contest had held in Geeks only land "INDIA". As like Microsoft, Google also pretty fond of Indian Minds. As a initiative of this, this Doodle 4 Google contest had been held all over India in a Theme called "MY INDIA" for more than 90 days..
The Contest is been open to students from class 1 to 10 th.The panel of juries include renowned cartoonist N Ponnappa, artist Raghava KK and the faculty of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.
They crossed across more than 4000 entries and 60,000 votes for those doodles.After all this a 9 year old kid grabbed the honor for India to get its first local drawn doodle, which will be displayed on Google’s homepage on November 14, 2009 to mark Children’s Day.
The Winner of the Doodle 4 Google contest is :

A class 4 student from Gurgaon, Puru Pratap Singh, is the maiden winner for this contest in India.Puru, a student of Amity International, Gurgaon, said, "My doodle is based on the theme ‘My India Full of Life’.

Description about his Doodle:
- The ‘G’ (in Google) explains India is a land of diversity and a country which has a blend of traditions and religions. The peacock in my artwork describes the vibrant Indian culture.
- With ‘O’ I have tried to represent the country’s success in discovering water on Moon."
- "In the other ‘G’ I have depicted Kashmir, the crown of India.
- ‘L’ shows the Amar Jawan Jyoti that reminds us of the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers. And we cannot think of India without Mahatma Gandhi so I have dedicated ‘E’ to him," Puru said.
Honors for the Indian Puru Pratap Singh:
- A laptop,
- A T-shirt with his doodle
- And Rs 1,00,000 as technology grant for his school.
